An opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Trainee Commercial Parts person to join our busy Parts Sales Team at Greenhous DAF in Wolverhampton.

This is ideal for someone who wants to enter the profession and go far; it is an ideal opportunity to learn the role inside out.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Working Hours: · Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour for lunch (unpaid).

Salary: Will be discussed at interview stage

Key Responsibilities:

• As this role offers a varied workload, the Trainee will develop skills in a number of areas including processing of customer orders, sourcing parts, and following all relevant procedures.

• You will be working within a large team consisting of customer facing, telesales and parts sales and will be trained to use a host of commercial parts identification aids, as well as a computerised stock management system.

• The successful candidate will be enrolled into a 2-year DAF Apprenticeship programme which will involve regular visits to DAF Trucks headquarters for your training and development.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Good communication skills.

• Computer literate.

• Driving licence is essential (or acquiring one within the first 12 months of employment).

• DAF’s apprentice facilitator would also require an application form to be completed as well as taking basic Maths and English tests. Details of which will be made available to the successful applicant.
